Molly's Cross Country running

                                                     Molly's Cross Country running
On the 2nd of May, St Francis of Assisi school walked down to Walter Park to do their Cross Country.
When we reached the park, I was so nervous. I felt like I was going to blow up! We were last to run so we had to wait the longest it. When the year five boys went off, I was so so scared. After the boys did there first lap, it was the girls turn to race. When Miss Hanson blew the whistle, everybody was zooming off. Ariella and I were neck and neck in the lead but then I slowed down because I had the stitch. When I was on my first lap, I was in 3rd or 4th place but when I was on my second lap, I found Lara crying and I asked her what was wrong. She said she couldn't breath so I ran and told Mrs Canary who told me to run ahead, so I did. Then I saw that Elsha so I sprinted to reach her. When I reached her, she was crying because she could not breath either. Luckily when she had a break, she felt better. When I was going up the hill I spotted Amelia. I ran as fast as I could to catch up to her. But just as I did, she crossed the finish line. I came 6th. The year 5/6 run 2 k and I am year 5.

What year are you and how far did you have to run?
