ferry mead

We were so lucky to go to ferry mead. When we got there the First thing that we did was get into the olden days clothes. Then we split up into two groups and one group went to have morning tea and the other group went to play bay or the money. Fist what I did was Play the game and the lady that was running the game only chose a couple of people and one of them was me. How you play is that she offers you some money like $1 and you could chose the money or the bag then the person that was running it would give a higher number and then the person will say money or bay I chose the bag and what I got was a Freddo Frog. Then after that the that we swapped . Then we went to have morning tea. It was really good there were lamination crackers and other really good stuff. Then after that we had a look around The place we looked in the old house and we watch an olden day move it was black and gray. Me Dakota and Elsha we into the printing place and we made a little book of secrets. I had an amazing day.

Dear The Government
I do not think it is fear that women do not have the right to vote or go to school or work.
We are just a housewife. By the end of the week the house will be so tidy and clean that there will be
nothing to clean up. All I want is for my family to have money and live. Do you care about that?
I understand that we need to do house work but we can do that after. Voting is not fear ether how come
men get to vote. why not women instead of men. It is not like mens dishons are better than women’s.
What did women do wrong. I hope that Changes your mind.
Sincerely

Molly Mackay

Why are red and green traditional

Why are red and green traditional Christmas colours?

Have you ever wondered why red and green are
traditional Christmas colours.

What do you think of Christmas? Some people think it
is a time of coming together with your family. Some
people might think that it is all about the brightness
or the presets. The people that are Christians might
celebrate the birth of Jesus. Just think if you were
making a Christmas card for someone what colors
would you use the most? RED AND GREEN you
guessed it. For many years, red and green have been
traditional Christmas colours. But why?

I know that Christmas trees are green, Santa's suit
is red and Rudolph's nose is red.To find out why, we
have to go much further back in time.

Nobody knows for certain why and how red and green
became so closely associated  with Christmas. The
Christians believe that red and green were inspired
by the life of Jesus. Green represents eternal life of
Jesus.

Trip to the Museum!!

On Monday the 16th of September 2019 we went to the Museum. We got into groups and then we found out what we were doing. What my group was doing first was we when with this man he was called Anthony and he took us into the Maori section he told us a story but I forgot it. Anyway he let us look around I look at the displays of the Maori people back in time and then I read that an that the first Maori drink bottle was by an egg from a bird. Then when we went into the next room he told us that in the room before they would only live to about 27 and then they would die. They would die early because well if they Brock a a body part in there body they had no Hospital to go to. Then in the next  room he said that they could live to about 30. We got to look around again I saw that there houses were very different to our ones now. The next thing that we did was go into the classroom  we did lots of fun things in there that I forgot 😞. After that we we went outside and there was this amazing tree that was so BIG and there were so many ways to climb it.
It was my favorite part. Here is a photo of me climbing tree!

By the way I named it M&M HUT I named it that because My name is Molly MacKay. The next thing my group did was look around there were 2 quiz's there was same other things that would entertain you. There was a t-v that had some thing on in but I did not watch it.

I had an AMAZING DAY!
